High-Density Polyethylene (H.D.P.E.) is a versatile thermoplastic material that offers several benefits for custom projects. It is a strong and durable material that has excellent resistance to impact and abrasion, making it ideal for applications that require toughness and durability like in general plant engineering, tank construction and wastewater industries.

Additionally, H.D.P.E. is a moisture-resistant material that can withstand exposure to water and other environmental factors without swelling or warping, making it suitable for outdoor applications. It is also a chemical-resistant material that can withstand exposure to many common chemicals, making it ideal for applications in harsh chemical environments.

Chemical Resistance
  • H.D.P.E. is resistant to Acids, Salts & salt solutions, alcohols, oils, fats, waxes & many solvents.
  • All PE material is affected by strong oxidising agents such as nitric acid, chromic acid or halogens.
  • Aromatics and Halogenated hydrocarbons cause swelling.
Applications

Machine guards, water tanks, chemical tanks, cutting boards, pipe fittings & component parts.

Sheet Size
  • Standard sheet size available is 3000 X 1500mm.
  • 2000 X 1000mm & 3000 x 1000mm are available with limited thickness.
Colour & Sheet Thickness
  • H.D.P.E can be supplied in Sheet & Rod.
  • Thickness: 2, 3, 4, 4.5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 & 100mm.
  • Colour available:
    • White/ Natural (Sheet & Rod)
    • Black (Sheet & Rod)
    • Yellow (Sheet only – 6 & 10mm)
UV Resistance
  • White/ Natural which is non UV
  • Black which is UV

  • 25 to 45mm O.Dia. must be purchased in full length only.
  • 50mm diameter & over MINUMUM cut to size is 500mm
